“We have held direct talks with the president and vice-president and asked them to provide us with the needed budget for moving the residents of Halileh and Bandargah,” Fars news agency quoted Abdolkarim Jomayri as saying Sunday.
Russia’s Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation had said that the two states were negotiating the construction of a second nuclear power plant in the province of Bushehr.
Iranian President Sheikh Hassan Rouhani said in December that Tehran has plans to generate more electricity through the nuclear energy in the coming years by building a second nuclear power plant in Bushehr.
