Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has attended the Cabinet meeting despite a Western media campaign insinuating that he would not.

Ahmadinejad disappointed the enemies who were hoping to create differences among nation, officials and Leadership, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Ezzatollah Zarghami said on Sunday. He made the remarks on the sidelines of a Sunday Cabinet meeting.

Zarghami added that over the past few days the global arrogance tried to exploit Iran's internal affairs, which as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said “are not of high importance.”
