A court in France has convicted three men for attempting to go and fight with militant groups in Syria and of plotting terrorist acts.

The three men were picked up at a French airport in May 2012 with tickets to Gaziantep in Turkey with holsters, flak jackets and night-vision goggles in their baggage.
