Jordanian ParliamentJordan's parliament on Wednesday gave the government of Prime Minister Abdallah Ensour until Tuesday to expel the Zionist ambassador from Amman and recall the Jordanian envoy from the occupation entity.

The ultimatum comes over growing anger in Jordan following the killing of a Jordanian judge by Zionist border guards at a border crossing on Monday.

On Wednesday, the parliament said that maintaining confidence in Ensour's government relies on its ability to fulfill the demands by Tuesday.

Jordanian judge Raed Ala'eddin Zeiter was shot dead by Zionist soldiers on Monday near the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Bridge) linking Jordan to the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

During Wednesday's session, all 150 members of Jordan’s lower house of parliament signed on a Wednesday statement demanding the expulsion of the envoy and voted to conduct an investigation into the judge's murder and bring perpetrators to the International Criminal Court.

The legislative statement further stated that the incident proved that the so-called 'Israel' is a “racist” regime that “does not want peace.”

The Jordanian lawmakers also sponsored a call for ushering in Jordanian-Palestinian control over border crossings with the Palestinian territories.

Jordan’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said Zionist regime is entirely responsible for the death of the 38-year-old judge, and told parliament that the entity had presented an official apology to his country for judge's killing following pressures from the Jordanian government.

Jordanians, meanwhile, held a protest rally outside the Zionist embassy in Amman on Tuesday and have vowed more demonstrations in the coming days.
