National news agency quoted its correspondent as saying that sporadic sniping operations and intermittent machine-gun fire are currently registered along the various customary axes of clashes in the northern city of Tripoli.

The death toll as a result of Tripoli clashes reached 12 killed. 57 others were injured, according to NNA.

The agency added that army units deployed in several areas of the city, noting that the army soldiers were are intercepting all source of fire.
