Israeli occupation forces bombed Syrian military sites in Golan on Wednesday and issued a warning against Syria after four Zionist soldiers were wounded on Tuesday.
The Israeli army struck sites, in the Syrian side of the Golan Heights plateau, belonging to the Syrian army and security forces, the Zionist army spokesman claimed, adding that the sites included military headquarters, artillery batteries and a training site.
Military sources confirmed that the air force had carried out four strikes at around 3:00 am, AFP reported.
"The Israeli army reserves the right to react in a suitable manner and at the appropriate time," the spokesman added.
Warning Messages to Syria
"We see the Assad regime as responsible for what is happening under its authority," Zionist Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said after the air force had bombed the Syrian military targets.
If Assad's regime continues to cooperate in harming Israel, it would make Syria pay a high price, he added.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had on Tuesday warned that ‘Israel’ would act forcefully following the Golan attack.
