Mustaqbal armed partisans cut off Thursday roads in the towns and villages of Akkar, northern Lebanon.

The gunmen cut off the roads and burnt tires in Wadi Khaled,  Abboudieh and other areas in Akkar.

The practices of al-Mustaqbal gunmen disrupted the citizens' movements and forced closing schools and stores.

The Lebanese army cordoned off Akkar in order to prevent the fleeing Syrian militants from moving to the other Lebanese cities.

The Lebanese Interior minister pleaded the gunmen to open the roads in order to "facilitate moving the militants, injured in clashes with the Syrian army in Homs, to the hospitals."
