Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said that the international events are not going in accordance with the US intentions.

Addresing crowds of Iranians on the occasion of Nawruz (Persian New Near), the leader pointed out to the failure of US plots to Judaize Palestine as well as the futility of its scenarios in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, the Leader said Washington has failed to achieve its goals.

“The realities on the global stage are not going according to US wishes,” his eminence said.

Imam Khamenei said the US-Israeli conspiracy in Palestine is aimed at clearing Palestine of Palestinians, whether Muslims or Christians.

He congratulated the Iranian people on this occasion, saying: “May God bestow a year full of blessings and prosperous lives to Iranians and all Muslims around the world and I hope that the New Year will be apt to Iranians’ dignity.”

“People’s participation throughout the history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran reveals that religious democracy is well established in Iran,” the Leader addressed crowd of pilgrims in the shrine of 8th Imam Ali Ridha (as) in Iran's northeastern city of Mashhad.

Meanwhile, his eminence stressed the importance of the culture and economy in the nation’s strength.

“Today I want people strengthen themselves because if a nation is not strong enough it will be subjected to oppression and threatening.”

Leader asserted that “strengthening oneself does not mean mere military strength but economic, culture and science make a nation stronger.”
“Economic field must be taken serious by all Iranians so that imposing sanctions or sanctions removal will not affect the country.” believed he.

Leader held that culture is even more important than economy because it is like the breathing air, the clean air has different effects than the polluted one.
