Syrian army recaptured on Saturday bastions of the Takfiri militants in Qalamoun region, Fleita and Ras al-Maarra.

The event took place after the Syrian Arab army units carried out a sweeping attack at down on Saturday, state television reported.

It quoted a military source as saying that army forces chased down fleeing terrorists and besieged them in the these two towns.

The source added that many terrorists were killed and others were injured during the operation.
