A unit of the armed forces targeted an armed terrorist group in Tesil area in the western countryside of Daraa, killing all its members, including the leader Yaser Abu Yahya.

A military source told SANA news agency that army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Zabayer area in Allajat, al-Samaqiyat farms and Etman town in the countryside and the surrounding of al-Hajeh town in Quneitra countryside.

The army also destroyed a number of the terrorists’ cars equipped with heavy machineguns in the operation.

Earlier, one civilian was killed and seven others injured by terrorists' mortar shells fired on various areas in Jaramana city in Damascus countryside, hitting al-Turbeh and al-Nasim neighborhoods, al-Siyouf square and the yard behind al-Radi Hospital.

Meanwhile, a mortar shell fired by terrorists landed on al-Fayha Sport City, causing material damage only.
