The Iranian foreign minister is to meet EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton at a dinner banquet in Vienna on the eve of the new round of talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - China, Russia, Britain, France and the United States - plus Germany.

Heads of negotiating teams are scheduled to discuss the reports of expert delegations and set the agenda of the talks to be held in the next two days.

Iran and the 5+1 will start their talks, which are part of efforts to reach a final agreement to fully resolve the decade-old western dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program, on Tuesday. The negotiations will last until Wednesday.

Several issues including enrichment, removal of sanctions, international cooperation and heavy water reactor in Arak will be among topics to be discussed by the two sides.
