1000 Iraqi protested Friday near Mujahidi Khalek’s location in Iraq and demanded the Prime Minister to expel the “terrorist” organization.
The Iraqis protested Friday against the presence of Mujahidi khalek members on their lands, regarding them as “terrorists”.Over 1000 Iraqi gathered near the Iranian armed group Mujahidi Khalek’s location North East Baghdad, the “Ashraf” camp, and called for expelling them.
The protesters came from various Iraqi provinces and held signboards saying “We call upon the Prime Minister to expel the terrorist organization of Mujahidi Khalek” and “Mujahidi Khalek organization and terrorism form one hand against the Iraqi people”.
In parallel, head of the Sadrist Movement in Dyali, Ammar Tamimi stated that “this organization (Mujahidi khalek) should leave Dyali as it is an armed and terrorist group”, and questioned the “US decision that does not consider it a terrorist organization and legitimizes its activities”.
Mujahidi khalek organization is an Iranian anti-regime armed group that has conducted various deadly attacks on the Iranian army and civilians.
