As the Bahraini regime authorities forced him to leave Manama, Sheikh Hussein al-Najati arrived Wednesday in Beirut, according to Al-Manar reporter.
Sheikh Najati, the representative of the religious reference Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani in Bahrain, was received at Beirut International Airport by a number of Lebanese and Bahraini religious as well as political figures.
Bahraini eyewitnesses mentioned that they saw Sheikh Najati at the airport in Manama after he was given 48 hours to leave the country.
The International Amnesty called to halt intimidating Sheikh Najati, pointing out that he was stripped of his nationality and warned of harming his family if he does not leave Bahrain.
