Homemade bomb killed three officers and injured several others in northwest Pakistan.
At least three police officers were killed and several others were injured in an explosion outside a district court in northwest Pakistan.
The explosion killed a female police constable immediately, local authorities said. Later, to policemen died of their injuries in a local hospital, doctors said.
The attack took place at the main gate of the district court complex in Nowshera, the capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, located 40 kilometers northeast of Peshawar.
At least five people were also wounded in the incident.
Regional police say preliminary reports indicate that the homemade bomb was planted at the court's female checkpoint.
