The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has sharply criticized al-Qaeda’s leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in a statement, rejecting his call for them to leave the war in Syria.

The audio recording urged al-Zawahiri to remove the leader of Al-Nusra Front, Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Syria.

It is worth to mention that the clashes between ISIL and al-Nusra Front in Deir Ezour and al-Raqqa have continued, claiming dozens of terrorists who belong to the two groups.
