Al-Nouri considered that the Syrian army plays a vital role in protecting the entire country, pointing out that the military must be supported and provided with all its needs.

Al-Nouri stressed that the resistance is a basic principle which preserves the nation's sovereignty.

He also lashed the role which Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other countries have been playing in instigating the crisis in Syria.
