Official news agency, SANA, reported that Halqi inaugurated al-Shuhadaa (Martyrs) Square in central Homs and raised the national flag in it.
“Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, al-Halqi inspected performance of the administrative, economic and service sectors in Homs.“
The Syrian premier also inspected the situation of work and the production process at a number of industrial projects and factories at the Industrial City of Hissiya in Homs.
He affirmed the government will rehabilitate what has been sabotaged by the armed terrorist groups, particularly the electricity, drainage, water, communications and hospitals to provide suitable environment for the return of families, according to SANA.
