Iran confirmed today that its foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has received a "friendly" invitation from Saudi Arabia to visit it.

Iran Deputy FM Hussein Amir Abdollahian said that Zarif was invited to attend the meeting of the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Cooperation) foreign ministers which will be held on June 18 and 19.
