Speaking in an exclusive interview with IRNA, Afkham said the Kuwaiti Emir travelled Iran to hold high-level consultations on expansion of
bilateral relations on regional and international levels and within framework of foreign policy of the Government of Hope and Prudence for expansion of relations with the neighbors and growing cooperation and mutual confidence.
She said, ˈWe believe consultations on promotion of bilateral relations, security in the Persian Gulf region and regional issues, including those concerning Iraq and Syria, emphasis on the need for unity and convergence and countering danger of the Takfiri groups and the ethnicity approach, would prepare a suitable ground for collection cooperation for security of the Persian Gulf,ˈ said Afkham.
Underlining importance of security and collective cooperation in the region, Afkham maintained that security is an integral and intertwined category. ˈCommitment of all parties to cooperation and constant and close cooperation would guarantee access to such a goal.ˈ
