Iranian deputy foreign minister said on Sunday that an upcoming meeting between Iranian and US delegations in Geneva will only cover nuclear issues, including removal of sanctions imposed on Tehran.

The meeting, to be held before the official talks with P5+1, will deal with the nuclear topics only, senior member of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi added in a televised interview.

US Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns and Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will lead the US delegation.

According to Araqchi, deputies for the Iranian foreign ministry are also scheduled to meet with their American and Russia counterparts in Geneva on Monday and Tuesday and in Rome on Wednesday and Thursday, IRNA said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Araqchi made clear that lifting of the sanctions, mostly imposed by the US on Iran, will be another subject of debate in the talks between Tehran and Washington.
