Well-informed sources told Al-Manat TV that Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas and the head of Hamas political bureau Khaled Meshaal are to visit the Russian capital this month.

Well-informed sources told Al-Manat TV that Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas and the head of Hamas political bureau Khaled Meshaal are to visit the Russian capital this month.

The sources said that Meshaal received an invitation from the Russian foreign ministry and he is to meet Russian President’s envoy for Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

The sources added that Abbas is due to meet Putin in Saint Petersburg city on June 24.
