A fully-equipped Lebanese Army Force began early on Friday its military operation in the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal.
The army combed the area in search for a number of wanted gunmen who are accused of assaulting Syrian refugee camps in Wadi Hmeid area and abducting several individuals, according to the national news agency.
“The Army Force's search operation aims to unveil the whereabouts of a number of abducted Syrian nationals, especially that of Ksara Makhoul Mrad, who is still held in the captivity of kidnappers,” NNA said.
