Nuclear talks between Iran and the United States addressed also the Iraqi issue, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told IRNA in Vienna on Tuesday.
He said while Iran and the US discussed the nuclear issue, talks dwelt also on the deteriorating situation in Iraq.
Zarif met with European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and US deputy secretary of state William Burns in Vienna on Monday to discuss the agenda of the nuclear talks between Iran and six powers (the US, Russia, China, France, Britain plus Germany).
Iranˈs top diplomat reiterated that while the negotiations focused exclusively on the nuclear case, it was natural that the discussion would also refer to the savage acts of the ISIS terror group in Iraq.
