The Zionist entity is concerned about a possible rapprochement between the United States and Iran that could lead to ease the pressure on Tehran over its nuclear program, following the terrorist offensive that hit northern part of Iraq, Zionist Army Radio reported Thursday.
"If Washington needs Tehran's help to solve the Iraq crisis, the United States will need to be more flexible in negotiations on Iran's nuclear program," the radio cited Zionist Tourism Minister Uzi Landau as saying.
"We're in a situation where, to confront the threat from the global jihad, we rely on Iran and its allies," Landau said.
A top Iranian official said on Wednesday that Tehran could consider working with the United States over the crisis in Iraq if talks on its nuclear program are successful.
