In an apparent violation of human rights, Israeli occupation soldiers shot dead a 14-year-old Palestinian overnight in the occupied West Bank as they pressed an arrest campaign in retaliation of the three Israeli settlers who went missing.
The teenager was killed in Dura, south of the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, which has been the principal focus of the massive Zionist operation.
Palestinian security forces identified the boy killed as Mohammed Dudin. They said clashes erupted after Zionist forces arrived to conduct illegal arrests and three other people were injured.
Dudin was taken to the Alia hospital in Al-Khalil, where officials determined his martyrdom was caused by a gunshot to his chest.
The Israeli army claimed soldiers had arrived to arrest a "terror activist" in Dura, where Palestinians allegedly threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the forces, who responded with live fire. A spokeswoman told AFP they were ‘examining’ the reports of Dudin's death.
