Israel to File Complaint against Lebanon, Syria

Israel plans to file a complaint to the UN against Syria and Lebanon after Palestinian refugees crossed the countries borders towards their occupied homeland, knowing that the spontaneous act did not violate international laws

The Zionist entity plans to file a complaint to the United Nations against Syria and Lebanon after Sunday’s incidents.

Israeli media reported that Israel’s envoy to the UN will claim that both countries did not take preventative measures despite all Israel’s warnings against “violent” acts and violating the entity’s “sovereignty”.

The station further pointed out that “the IDF acted with self-control”.

This comes after the occupation forces killed 15 Palestinians commemorating the Nakba (catastrophe) day on the Lebanese and Syrian borders with the occupied territories and injured hundreds.

The Palestinian refugees marched Sunday towards their host countries’ borders, and in a spontaneous act, crossed the fenced wire towards their occupied homeland.

The occupation forces opened fire at the unarmed protestors, killing a number of them even during their pull back; knowing that the “return to Palestine” marches have not violated any international law or resolution by crossing into the occupied territories, as various international texts proclaim this Palestinian right.

These texts include article 11 in the General Assembly’s resolution number 194 that clearly states this Palestinian right since 63 years.

The article reads “Refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property”.

In addition, the UN Security Council resolution 242 demands the withdrawal of the occupation’s armed forces from all territories occupied in 1967.
