The Iraqi security forces killed on Monday the leader of the so-called ’Islamic State of Iraq and Levant’ terrorist group in Kirkuk, Abu Bakr al-Shishani.

“Al-Shishani was killed in Kirkuk province,” security source said.
However, Iraqiya TV channel said that "the security forces managed to kill the commander of ISIL organization in Kirkuk, called Abu Bakr al-Shishani".
Meanwhile, military sources reported that a soldier was martyred on Tuesday and three ISIL terrorists were killed in armed clashes in Mansouriya district of northern Baquba in Diyala province.
Iraqi army have been battling for three weeks against terrorists by the group formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
