In Damascus Countryside, units of the army thwarted terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate from Khan al-Sheih farms towards a military checkpoint, killing and injuring a number of them.
The army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Khan al-Sheih farms, al-Hussiniyeh and Mugher al-Mir in other operations.
Another army unit destroyed terrorist hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them and killed 20 terrorists from the so-called “Islamic Front” and “Islam Army” in the town of Mida’a in Eastern Ghouta, in addition to eliminating terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammo in the farms of al-Nashabiye.
Army units continued pursuing terrorists in the farms north of al-Mleiha, near Tameco pharmaceutical company, and in Ein Tarma valley, destroying a hideout and eliminating all the terrorists inside it.
A number of terrorists were eliminated and their weapons and ammo were destroyed in Aaliya and al-Ebb farms in Douma area.
An army unit clashed with a terrorist group in the farms east of the Police Hospital in Harasta area, killing one terrorist, while in Jobar a number of terrorist hideouts were destroyed and four terrorists were killed.
In Daraya, an army unit destroyed a terrorist hideout and eliminated many of the terrorists inside it, while other terrorists were eliminated in Manshiyet Khan al-Sheih.
In Qalamoun, in the wilderness around the towns of Qara and Assal al-Ward in an area near the Syrian-Lebanese borders, army units eliminated a number of terrorists, injured others, and destroyed their equipment.
In Aleppo countryside, a military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in al-Shakif, Tal Sha’ir, Babis, al-Sheikh Said, Hreitan, Hanano, Kafer Da’el, al-Mansourah, Tal Reif’at, Daret Izza, Deir Jamal Ebtin, Mayer, al-Haidariyeh, Kafer Hamra, Khan al-Assal, al-Halk, al-Fardous, al-Samiriyeh and al-Rashidin, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
The source added that army units destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles and cars in al-Jbiliyeh, al-Zerbeh, Kafernaha, Kishish, Hreitan, Bianon and Marea in the countryside.
Units of the army and the armed forces repelled members of armed terrorist groups who tried to infiltrate from the Old City of Aleppo into al-Meshrfiyeh Mosque in Aleppo city, killing and injuring a number of them.
In Quneitra countryside, an army unit destroyed a car with all the terrorists inside it in Barika.
In Daraa countryside, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings on Atman-Tafas road in the western neighborhood of Busra al-Sham town and at the crossroad of Zamrin-Samlin. Many terrorists were killed or injured during the operation, a military source told SANA.
Other army units destroyed three of terrorists’ vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition as they attempted to enter al-Hajja town, killing all of them.
Numbers of other terrorists were killed in al-Yadouda town.
Terrorists’ gatherings were also targeted in the neighborhoods of al-Masri Roundabout, al-Jamarek al-Qadim and al-Bajabjeh in Daraa city. Many were killed or injured.
More terrorists were eliminated to the south of al-Khalil Mosque, near Bilal al-Habashi Mosque, al-Kahzan and Wadi al-Zaidi in the city.
In the central province of Homs, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Om Sharshouh town, killing many terrorists and injuring others , in addition to destroying two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and a bus on al-Farhaniyeh-al-Ghanto road in the countryside.
A military source in the province said that another army unit destroyed two guarding sites for terrorists on Om-Sharshouh-Tasnim road and al-Waara village.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Hailan, Dawoud and Wadi al-Kahef in Qussayr countryside, destroying vehicles equipped with machine guns.
Other army units, in the meantime, carried out operations against terrorists’ gatherings in Samalil and Ain Hussain.
In Idlib, an army unit thwarted a terrorists’ attempt of attacking a number of military checkpoints in the surrounding area of Mohambel town, killing or injuring its members.
Army units also targeted terrorist gatherings in the areas of Haj Hammoud farm, Bazza, Kafr Najd, and Kafr Rouma, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Earlier on Sunday, Syrian army restored security to the village of Kifr Saghir to the north of al-Sheikh Najjar Industrial City in Aleppo’s northern countryside.
The development came when government troops dismantled a number of explosive devices and mines planted by foreign-backed armed mercenaries on the roads and inside the homes of the village, which overlooks a number of other villages in addition to the Infantry Academy and al-Mislmyeh-Aleppo highway, SANA reported.
Syrian army units also hunted the Industrial City of al-Sheikh Najjar, discovering large amounts of rocket shells, communication devices and materials used by the armed insurgents to manufacture explosive devices.
