Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei ruled out military strike against the Islamic Republic, as he stressed that the nuclear right of Tehran must be respected.
Addressing a meeting of top Iranian officials, the Leader asserted that the enemy of the Islamic Revolution had always failed to face with Iran in the real battlefields, since “the Dominance front has mere military threat and sanctions and its stock of threats and sanctions have now been depleted."
“The enemies keep saying that it is the US which prevents Israel's military threats while the actual reason is that it is impossible for any country to attack the country,” said the Leader.
His eminence underscored that Iran’s right to nuclear research and development must be respected in the negotiations.
The western powers are asking for too much so that Iran would be content with the least, the Leader said, adding that their goal in the field of uranium enrichment is to persuade Iran to limit its enrichment capacity to 10 thousand nuclear centrifuges or Separative Work Units (SWUs).
His eminence asserted that Iran needs an enrichment capacity of at least 190 thousand SWUs.
Imam Khamenei said the Powers tried to mount pressures on Iran “but we trust our negotiators and believe that they would not allow any violation of nation’s right.”
The Leader further rejected the idea of shutting down Fordo nuclear facility.
Regarding Fordo facility they say as this facility is not accessible and cannot be targeted, therefore, it should be closed which is “laughable”, Ayatollah Khamenei stated.
