Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei denounced the Israeli offensive on Gaza as ““truly catastrophic.”

In a meeting with president Rouhani and his cabinet on Monday, Imam Khameni said that "Zionists are committing these crimes taking advantage of the Islamic world’s negligence."

“The massacre in Gaza by Zionists should awaken Muslim governments and nations to leave any discord and get united,” Mehr news agency quoted his eminence as saying, referring to the brutal massacre committed by the Zionist enemy against children and women in Gaza.

Leader also hailed the government’s stance toward sad the Gaza assault as proper.

On Saturday, President Rouhani assigned Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to employ all resources available to the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to put an end to Israel’s atrocities in Gaza.
