Iran has asked international criminal courts to prosecute the Zionist entity Israel for its crimes, violation of international law, and human rights.
Iranian foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic would emphasize Zionist regime’s full responsibility for committing the ongoing crimes in Gaza.
“Crimes by Zionists are so horrible that mere condemnation would not suffice; rather, an urgent measure is needed to bring the regime to prosecution in international criminal courts,” Afkham told a press conference on Wednesday.
The FM spokeswoman also expressed the Islamic Republic’s support for the Palestinians as she voiced Iran’s support for any decision by the Palestinians themselves and resistance regarding ceasefire agreement aimed at ending the Israeli offensive on the besieged strip.
