A British militant says she wants to be the first woman to decapitate a Western prisoner in Syria.
Khadijah Dare made the announcement on her Twitter account on Tuesday after praising the recent beheading of a US journalist by a black-masked ISIL element speaking with a British accent.
“I wna b da 1st UK woman 2 kill a UK or US terrorist! (sic),” she wrote.
A footage, which surfaced on the Internet on August 19, showed a suspected British terrorist beheading journalist James Foley in what is said to be retaliation for US airstrikes against the ISIL Takfiri group in Iraq.
According to reports, the 22-year-old female militant, from Lewisham, South East London, moved to Syria in 2012 with her husband, who is a Swedish ISIL militant. She recently posted a picture of her toddler posing with an AK47 assault rifle in northern Syria.
Her comments have further fuelled concerns by the Western countries that the European members of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group operating in Iraq and Syria could project a threat to their home countries.
The ISIL terrorists currently control parts of eastern Syria and Iraq’s northern and western regions, where they have been committing heinous crimes in the captured areas, including the mass execution of civilians and Iraqi security forces.
Around 400 Britons are believed to have gone to Syria over the last two years to engage in the foreign-backed militancy to topple the Syrian government.
UK Foreign Secretary Hammond confirmed earlier this week that “significant numbers” of British nationals had been involved in “terrible crimes” and “probably in the commission of atrocities” overseas.
