In Damascus countryside, an army unit foiled an attempt by Al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra terrorist group to infiltrate into a military post near al-Shalah checkpoint in al-Zabadani Area, killing and injuring all of its members.
In Deir Ezzor province, army units eliminated a number of terrorists and wounded others in the neighborhoods of al-Rashidiyeh, al-Howaika and the old airport.
