Foreign Affairs Minister, Jibran Bassil, said the top priority nowadays is "for fighting ISIL and eradicating it from existence as there should be no presence for such cruel terrorist organization that threatens human existence."
Bassil's fresh stance came Thursday in the context of a meeting in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia devoted to explore the issue of terrorism and extremist organizations in the region.
Bassil said any side or state willing to combat terrorism and takfiri groups were welcomed in the international war against terrorism and takfiris, explaining that there must never be "any financial or political support for takfirism, whether directly or indirectly."
The minister called for protecting minorities in the Middle East and the culture of dialogue against violence and refusing the other.
