At least a dozen people were killed and 25 others were wounded when a car bomb hit the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Police said the bomb went off Monday evening in the busy commercial district of Ur in the eastern part of the capital.
Officials said the blast, which took place when the area was full of people, also caused damage to a number of shop fronts.
On Sunday, bombings and mortar attacks killed at least 13 people in Iraq.
