A Lebanese soldier on Sunday was injured in a shooting by a Zionist rifle from inside the Occupied Palestine near Kfarshouba, Al-Manar TV correspondent said.

The enemy shooting prompted a retaliatory shooting from the Lebanese military.

"The Lebanese soldier at al-Sudana post was injured in the hand and was taken to hospital," Al-Manar TV reporter indicated.

"The Lebanese army clashed with a Zionist military unit while trying to enter Lebanese territories through the al-Sudana heights in the area of Shebaa," it added.

The reporter stated that the Lebanese army enforced troops deployment in Shebaa heights following the engagement with the Zionist army amid mutual mobilization between both sides.

Since the 2006 July war on Lebanon, the Zionist entity has spared no chance to violate the Lebanese sovereignty in flagrant breaching of the UN resolution 1701.
