“Al Saud are in no position to threaten Iran”

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Sunday that Al Saud rulers of Saudi Arabia are in no position to militarily threaten Iran.

“Al Saud are in no position to threaten Iran; therefore, one can say Al Saud would never dare to make military threats against Iran,” the top general was quoted by ISNA as saying.

“Even the United States cannot threaten us, let alone others,” the Iranian defense chief underscored.

Gen. Vahidi dismissed allegations by the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council that Iran is meddling in Bahrain's domestic affairs. “Whoever looks at the situation [in Bahrain] will know who is really meddling in Bahrain,” he added.
