The army arrested Ibrahim Issa Bohlok, from Arsal, while he was on his way to the region’s terrains using the identity of his brother, the Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate published on Thursday in a statement.

"The detainee confessed, during interrogation, having participated with a terrorist group of 65 armed members in the attack against one of the army posts in Arsal during the month of August, as well as murdering an officer," the statement said.

"Investigations are ongoing with the arrested under the supervision of the competent authority," the statement concluded.

The Lebanese Army also shot against two individuals aboard a motorcycle on an illegal earthen road from Arsal's outskirts to Arsal as both refused to stop and abide by a military order.

The shot wounded one of them who fell at the hands of the army while the other escaped.

Separately, the army arrested Ibrahim Bohlok at Wadi Hmeid checkpoint in Arsal, whereupon Bohlok has been taken to investigations.

It's worth noting that Bohlok has already joined terrorists in their battles against the army.
