It is worth noting that al-Houjeiri was had participated in different terrorist acts against the Lebanese army, including the assaults on its posts in Arsal.
In the same context, nine Syrians and an Egyptian have been arrested in Kharroub District during raids mounted by soldiers on Syrian communities in the locality of Bisri, Army Guidance Directorate announced today.
All nine persons, the Egyptian and another man with no identification documents were kept behind bars for illegally roaming around, army Guidance Directorate added.
Suspects and confiscated belongings were duly handed over to the authorities concerned to take whatever decisions deemed necessary.
The Lebanese Army units have conducted raids in Bisri valley --which separates between Shouf region and Jezzine-- in search for security saboteurs.
The raids came in the context of the measures that the Army carried out in order to preserve security and stability, pursue security saboteurs and assure that no armed persons are found in the said area, NNA reported.
