Al-Manar TV channel gained the First rank for the category of the evening news bulletins, and Al-Manar Website gained the Second rank

Ghadir Iraqi TV channel organized an international media festival, "Through Media We Defeat Terrorism", involving over 399 media outlets.

The speeches stressed the importance of media in face of ISIL terrorist group.  

During the festival, prizes were handed to the representatives of the best media outlets. Al-Manar TV channel gained the First rank for the category of the evening news bulletins, and Al-Manar Website gained the Second rank as Russia Today led the Arab news websites.

The festival's management generously displayed a short film about Al-Manar martyrs and honored martyr Hamza al-Haj Hasan.
