Head of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani died this morning in hospital after months of being into coma.
The office of Ayatollah Mahdavi announced, in a statement, the head of Assembly of Experts has died on Tuesday morning Irania media reported.
Ayatollah Mahdavi has been hospitalized since June 04, 2014 after suffering a heart attack which brought him into coma.
He has died at the age of 83 after decades of serving the Islamic Republic of Iran in different positions.
