The Iranian President said he was certain that Israel and the US would soon collapse
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Israel and the US have reached a dead end, saying he was certain the nations would collapse in the near future.
“I am certain that the region will soon witness the collapse of Israel and the U.S.,” Ahmadinejad said in a speech at the mausoleum of Ayatollah Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, the late supreme leader of the 1979 Islamic revolution.
“The hegemony front is at the end of the road,” he was quoted by IRNA in a ceremony late Friday, marking the 22nd anniversary of the passing of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“[Global] hegemony, today, is the last impediment to the monotheism front, and if we can overcome this hurdle, the monotheistic movement to achieve prosperity will be all downhill all the way,” he underlined.
President Ahmadinejad further pointed out that the Iranian nation has stood up to hegemonic powers and thwarted all their plots.
However, he said, Iranians need to remain vigilant as the enemy is pressing ahead with its schemes. He said colonialists have put on a new mask as part of their efforts to save the ailing US economy and the Zionist regime of Israel.
President Ahmadinejad underlined that “war on hegemony” centers on “dealing with the US domination and Israel's existence.” He accused Israel of being the main factor in regional and global insecurity and blamed the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama for supporting the Zionist entity.
