Conferees denounced the assassination crime of Internal Security Forces Sergeant, Ali al-Bazzal, at the hands of extremists, considering him a "martyr of the whole nation."
"Lebanon is united this day as a one rank in this huge confrontation to release the kidnapped soldiers and protect our national security," the conferees stressed.
A number of appropriate measures and decisions were adopted during the meeting within the framework of the Crisis Cell's responsibility in this dossier.
Wife of Kidnapped soldier Mokbel receives threat from captors
The wife of the kidnapped soldier, Khaled Mokbel, received a threat over the phone from the captors in which they threatened to kill all kidnapped servicemen, National News Agency mentioned on Saturday.
In a related context, the families of the kidnapped soldiers blocked a number of key highways in various Lebanese areas, demanding the government to exert the needed efforts to release their sons.
