Terrorist organizations suffered extremely heavy losses during Syrian army operations on Friday with them losing large numbers of their members and having their heavy weapons and equipment destroyed, including car bombs and vehicles loaded with weapons and munitions, SANA reported.
Deir Ezzor
Army units destroyed a vehicle bomb before it could reach a military checkpoint in the area surrounding Deir Ezzor airport. Large numbers of terrorists were killed and others wounded in al-Mrei’iyeh and Huweijet al-Mrei’iyeh in the northeastern province.
Daraa
Army units killed a large number of terrorists and destroyed 4 car bombs, 5 vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft guns, 2 vehicles loaded with ammo and a cache including a huge amount of explosives, mines and explosive devices in Tafas town in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.
Army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Sheikh Miskeen and Tafas, killing 50 terrorists, among whom were the so-called military emir of “Houran Lions” group, who was nicknamed Abu Zakaraya, and terrorist Mohammad Jihad Sawaya.
More terrorists were killed and their vehicles were destroyed in al-Sahasel and Zimreen in the countryside.
Idleb
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists in al-Debshiya and Abu al-Duhour in the countryside of the northern province of Idleb, while other terrorists who attempted to infiltrate from Ein al-Bardeh towards Ein al-Souda in Jisr al-Shughour countryside were killed and their vehicles were destroyed.
Homs
Units of the Army and Armed Forces killed terrorists, injured others and destroyed a tractor loaded with weapons and ammunition to the west of al-Zara in al-Rastan area in the countryside of the central province of Homs.
Army units also eliminated a number of terrorists in the villages of Salam Gharbi and al-Sultaniyeh in the eastern countryside of Homs.
Other army units continued chasing down fleeing members of ISIL in the area surrounding al-Shaer Mountain, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
