An Egyptian military plane crashed on Wednesday during Egypt-United Arab Emirates (UAE) joint military drill, killing two Egyptian and two UAE officers, state-run Nile TV reported.
Egypt’s military spokesperson was quoted as saying that the crash happened at 7 p.m., and a technical failure should be the cause.
The UAE armed forces said that authorities were investigating the reasons behind the incident.
Egypt and the UAE started a joint military drill on December 11, the latest in a series of training between the two countries.
