Field sources in Iraq told al-Manar that the international coalition airplanes dropped aids to the terrorist militants in Balad, an area which lies in Salahuddin province north of Baghdad.
Meanwhile, Iraq army, backed by popular forces, advanced toward the southeast of Balad, al-Manar correspondent reported, noting that ISIL terrorists retreated from Doloueya region in Salahuddin province.
Commenting on the move by the international coalition, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, described the coalition as a “lie.”
“We have been informed that the US airplanes dropped aids for ISIL in Iraq, and that this move has been repeated for five times. The US claims it has formed an anti-ISIL coalition, but it is just a lie,” the leader said on Friday.
