The Iraqi army, backed by the federal police and the popular volunteers, regained control over the town of Yathreb in Salahhudin province.

The Iraqi army further liberated al-Daluiya, raising the flag  on the airport of the town which lies in Salahuddin.

The Iraqi military also controlled Tal-al-Dahab and Albujili in Balad after striking ISIL terrorists in the area and its vicinity.
