Palestinian group Hamas has described the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a "symbol of world terrorism."
"Netanyahu will remain a symbol of terrorism in the world," Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a Tuesday press release.
He said Netanyahu's participation in a Sunday anti-terrorism rally in Paris "will not exonerate him from his crimes in the Gaza Strip."
Netanyahu joined scores of world leaders for Sunday's anti-terrorism rally in Paris following last week's deadly attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Last summer, at least 2,160 Palestinians were killed – mostly civilians – and nearly 11,000 others injured in a 51-day Zionist offensive on the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Zionist occupation authorities said that the onslaught was meant to halt rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, which continues to reel under an eight-year blockade.
The offensive ended on Aug. 26 with a cease-fire between the Zionist entity and Palestinian resistance factions.
