Al-Manar correspondent in Sanaa reported that two people were injured after fierce clashes took place between the presidential guard and Ansarullah popular committees.
The correspondent said the clashes extended to neighboring areas, noting that light and mid0range weapons were used during the clashes.
Ansarullah revolutionaries had controlled the capital last September due to threats exposed by al-Qaeda-linked Takfiris to take control of several areas across the city.
Following the takeover of Sanaa, Ansarullah and the government signed a UN –brokered deal which led for the formation of a new government.
