The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRG) announced the martyrdom of great commander, Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allah-Dadi in the Israeli brutal attack in Syria's Quneitra region.
In a statement issued Monday, the IRG described Allah-Dadi as one of the courageous and loyal commanders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, who played an influential role in the imposed war.
"He was the commander of Ghadir Brigade in Yazd province and will always inspire current and future generations," the statement read.
"Allah-Dadi was in Syria for advisory mission to help the Syrian government and people in the face of terrorists and salafist takfiris, and scored several achievements against plots and crimes of the Zionist entity over the entire Syrian territories, and was loyal defender and supporter of Resistance against the Zionist entity," it added.
The IRG statement indicated that General Allah-Dadi has been martyred while carrying out a reconnaissance tour in Syria's Quneitra, accompanied y a group of Hezbollah fighters, when a Zionist helicopter rocket hit them.
However, it renewed the pledge to continue the path of resistance against the Zionist occupation entity despite the challenges posed by different enemies.
"Undoubtedly, the martyrdom of General Allah-Dadi, as well as of Hezbollah fighters, will only increase the determination of Islamic Resistance to confront the Zionist entity and to stick to the principles of Islam and to defending them," it stressed, condemning the attack as "a violation of the Syrian aerial sovereignty" which "proves one more time that what is going on in Syria is a terrorist takfiri strife of ISIL that serves the interests of Zionist entity and applies the policies of dominance system, in cooperation with the White House administration.
"This strife aims at hitting the Islamic nation outside the humanitarian, legal and international frames and norms," it went on to say.
"We, hereby, condole with Imam Mahdi (as) {the twelfth Imam of Prophet Mohammad's family} and congratulate him and Iran's Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, as well as the people of Syria, Iran and Lebanon for this graced martyrdom of General Allah-Dadi and several other fighters of Hezbollah," Iran's IRG concluded its statement.
